The NYC-36 automatically goes into keep warm mode after the cooking process ends, ensuring that the perfectly cooked rice maintains its freshness without altering the texture or the consistency, all the while remaining at the ideal serving temperature.

Other noteworthy elements of Zojirushi’s NYC-36 is the cooker's inner pan which features a water-measuring line for convenient filling that sits on top of a nonstick coating to prevent rice from sticking and to ensure the ease of cleaning. The unit also comes with a detachable and easy-to-clean condensation collector, making its use extra-efficient for repetitive use in large amounts. An extra-large rice spatula is included with the model.
