Simply Iced Coffee
We made our iced coffee using the Japanese iced coffee method in which dark brewed hot coffee is flash chilled to lock in the aroma and taste. Sweetening it with simple syrup is the way to go.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 11.1 oz. (315g) ice cubes for the Ice Basket
- 5 scoops (25.5g) ground coffee (Use measuring spoon that comes with the coffee maker)
- Water to fill to water level 3 for “Iced”
- 3 full glasses of ice cubes
- Cream
- 1 cup sugar

- 3 full glasses of ice cubes

This recipe was developed for the Fresh Brew Plus 12-Cup Coffee Maker (EC-YGC120) and Fresh Brew Plus Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker (EC-YSC100). Adjustments may be required for making this recipe in other coffee makers.
