Its compact size, however, is by no means indicative of a limited menu. With impressive 10 cooking menu settings, the JAJ-A55U is designed to cook ingredients ranging from plain white rice to brown or mixed rice, risotto, stew/soup and even bake a cake.
Furthermore, this multi-functional cooker from Tiger is capable of synchro-cooking due to the brand’s very own tacook design. This function enables the cooker to cook two dishes simultaneously; with the tacook plate placed above the cooking rice, the steam and the heat generated throughout the process helps cook the ingredients placed on the plate all the while ensuring that the dishes preserve their individual textures and flavours without impacting one another. Like the majority of the brand’s rice cookers, the JAJ-A55U is powered by the advanced micom technology. This refers to the microcomputer chip that is inserted in the cooker and is pre-programmed with all the menu settings the cooker is designed to offer. As a result, the cooker can deliver more than traditional white rice; when a specific cooking option is selected, the cooker performs the pre-soaking as well as cooking, monitoring the temperature, and the final steaming. In other words, the micom holds control over the entire cooking process, leaving the user with only the one task of pushing the button.
