The Gel Cool company was born out of Hokkaido University research into bento box construction. A team of 10 former researchers came together in 2004 and began designing the perfect functional bento boxes that will keep your food fresh. Their special cooling gel lids are the perfect solution to prevent food spoilage while still maintaining compact form factor. All Gel-Cool products are made in Japan, with the user in mind.
